A Breath of Purpose
At Ecopap®, we are driven by a single mission: to provide safe, effective, and environmentally conscious respiratory support without relying on electricity or complex machinery. Founded by Peron Pierre, a seasoned Registered Respiratory Therapist and former U.S. Army Medic, Ecopap was born from the urgent need for simpler, more accessible breathing support—especially in underserved communities and emergency settings.
With more than three decades of respiratory therapy experience and firsthand knowledge of healthcare disparities, Pierre sought to invent a solution that could save lives and ease breathing challenges without requiring batteries or ventilators. The result? A patented, mechanical positive pressure device that naturally supports spontaneous breathing and maintains positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP)—now transforming care for both adults and infants around the world.
"Innovation should serve humanity—not the other way around."
Peron Pierre began his healthcare career as a U.S. Army Medic before earning his Respiratory Therapy degree from New York University in 1992. Inspired by his experiences in emergency medicine and by community leaders pushing for healthcare equity, he launched PG Deliverance in 2007—his first home-based medical device venture.
By 2010, Pierre had developed the Ecopap system, a groundbreaking alternative to mechanical ventilation. His invention was guided by one goal: make advanced lung support available to everyone, everywhere—especially where power and complex infrastructure are lacking. Through relentless innovation and a passion for equitable care, Pierre continues to bridge the gap between high-tech medicine and global accessibility.
We envision a world where no one is left breathless due to cost, complexity, or inaccessibility. Ecopap devices are designed to:
By championing sustainability, simplicity, and science, we believe we can reshape respiratory therapy from the ground up.
Ecopap's mission is to deliver:
Lowering the cost of respiratory care through elegant design
Operating without electricity or batteries
Serving communities in disaster zones, rural areas, and low-resource hospitals
Encouraging natural breathing and minimizing patient discomfort
We believe everyone deserves access to safe and dignified breathing support—no matter where they live or what resources they have.
Whether in a neonatal ICU or a remote village clinic, Ecopap's devices are making a measurable impact. Our flagship nasal and tracheal devices:
Promote alveolar recruitment and sustained lung inflation.
Allow spontaneous inhalation and passive exhalation while maintaining open lungs.
Reduce respiratory effort without invasive intubation or electrical dependence.
Lightweight, portable designs for use in homes, ambulances, or field hospitals.
Every Ecopap product is a tool for empowerment—offering not just respiratory relief, but renewed independence and peace of mind.
We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards, in both patient care and business.
Our solutions are built for minimal environmental impact.
We combine medical insight with creative engineering to solve real-world problems.
Our work is guided by empathy, humanity, and the urgent need for equitable care.
Ecopap continues to invest in research and development to improve device performance, expand product lines, and address specific needs like pediatric care and emergency field use. Collaborating with respiratory specialists, biomedical engineers, and global health organizations, we're paving the way for a new standard in lung therapy.
